Yayyyy so excited to be back in LA 🇺🇸 I’m so looking forward to catching up with you @caroburckle and @dahlhousenutrition for some hikes, lots of coffees and hours of conversation … and of course, selling my 🚙 which is the main reason I’m here. I’m currently super jet-lagged … So for the next 24hours I plan on sleeping, hydrating A LOT, moving my body in the fresh air & morning sunlight and getting a bit of a sweat on. Over the years, that’s what helps me the most. Do you have any jet-lag tips that work for you?
Suchhh a productive arvo sorting all my business stuff. How good is the feeling when you close out the day KNOWING you progressed forward. A big ass coffee from @nododonuts definitely helped the productivity levels ☕️🤤 A few months back I started implementing a new way of writting my “to-do” lists and it has been LIFE CHANGING. Soooo of course I had to include every little bit of it in my Magical Mentoring Program with ‘step by step’ instructions so you guys can conquer the world too 🌍 Only a few days now till it’s all up and running, so for everyone who has message me about getting your hands on this #MagicalMentoring workbooks … STAY TUNED!!! Love you all 😘 Off to go print my huge 2018 wall calendar.
This time of year causes you to reflect on the progress you have made, the goals you achieved, or didn’t achieve and prepare for an even better year ahead.⠀ This year I launched my very first company @racerice and became an entrepreneur … a goal I’ve had for years.⠀ ⠀ I’m incredibly grateful for the support of you guys and the amazing customers who gave such positive feedback on the bars, my incredible family at @innerorigin who also sold my bars, but most of all, I’m grateful for the MANY lessons I learnt.⠀ ⠀ I decided right before I went overseas that I would no longer sell the bars myself online, as the process of packaging and shipping the bars every couple of days was taking away time from my true passion of mentoring. ⠀ I’m proud of how much growth the company has had in its initial year, selling almost 70,000bars and donating 70,000 bars to Australians in need. A beautiful & rewarding feeling to contribute to others in need in a far bigger way than I could ever do as an individual.⠀ ⠀ The reason I share this is because a lot of people have a fear of failure. Do you hold yourself back because you’re scared to fail? Or afraid of what others will think of you?⠀ ⠀ I don’t believe in failure. I see every experience as a learning opportunity and a chance for me to grow into the woman I so desire to be.⠀ I could look at this decision to stop selling the bars as a failure, however I feel really excited to now have the time to continue sharing and growing my mentoring business with all the knowledge I gained from launching & running @racerice.⠀ More to come on that tomorrow.⠀ ⠀ Thank you once again for your continual support and positive vibes that you send…I feel incredibly grateful to have such a loving community online.⠀ ⠀ ⠀
Up and ready to get into some breaky and exercise, after a few hours on the computer making sure everything's working with @racerice cause we are now LIVE! I made this 3 of these chia puddings on Sunday so I would have a few different options in the morning, especially the more rushed ones. They are sooo easy to make and are a really health choice because @bioglanau chia seeds are high in magnesium (amazing for muscle recovery and relaxation) ➕they are really high in protein, which is great for me because I eat predominately vegan. I mixed 1 cup chia seeds with 1 tin of organic coconut milk & another tin full of water. You can be fancy and add vanilla extract or coconut sugar to the mixture, then just let it sit for 30mins and spoon it into your jars or containers and top it with whatever you like. I did mine with desicated coconut, @bioglanau maca powder (hormone balancing) and raisins. If you a super on-the-go person and forget or "don't have time" for breaky … this is your go to!!! DON'T EVER SKIP BREAKFAST
It feels good to be getting back into the routine after enjoying a little break over the holidays. It's good to let yourself be flexible over the holidays with food and exercise and not pressuring yourself to be perfect. In saying that, I generally eat healthy, whole foods and move my body by swimming, walking etc, just not to the same intensity as I generally would. Then you come back refreshed, with new goals and purpose. Remember that being healthy isn't about being "perfect" and following a "perfect routine" it's about having the intuition and guidance to make the best choices for YOU each and every day that make you feel your best.
Following on from my last post.⠀ This ones for all those people who didn't believe in me, who criticised, who wrote negative articles … That was never going to stop me from going for my goals.⠀ And for me, this picture reminds me of why I never felt like I fitted in … because I was never meant to. ⠀ Standing on the Olympic Podium (3 times) singing the Australian Anthem with pride (not well though), becoming the fastest person in the world and seeing my parents in the stands crying with pride made EVERY challenge fucking WORTH IT. ⠀ I will never forget my journey as an athlete, the support of my family, coach and team & these experiences will forever fill my heart with gratitude, because I never could have done it alone.⠀ ⠀ Trust in the process and always say thank you, and know you can achieve anything you set your mind too and fully commit too.
